Advanced Uses of VRML2

What do we really need?
(A plugin API)

Lower Latency
An open stream would allow for much less latency than http.
Client Control
A plugin API would allow a java applet to control a VRML2 world like
a puppet master with a puppet.
Server Defined Protocols via java
Would allow the application designer to define thier own
communication protocols.
