Advanced Uses of VRML2
VRML2 is a scene description language for the WWW that supports behaviors. By using CGI programs that output VRML2 the designer can create interactive 3d applications that are created "on the fly".
Once an interface to to the server has been established the designer may then create a common informational representation in which multiple players may share a world. Right now this must be done entirely in CGI but soon a "plugin API" will allow the designer to have real networking clients interacting with VRML2.
